Tracy is a 57-year-old Grandmother and mother of 3 who doesn’t believe that age is a factor that should determine how young you feel!

Being over 50 doesn’t mean that she feels that she shouldn’t take up new challenges, do new things or become better as a person.  In fact, bucking this trend has given her more drive and determination to remain fit and healthy to inspire other women too.  

Her motivation for being a Personal Trainer is to help others achieve their goals.  In her words “I feel so proud of my clients when they lose weight, run a half marathon or even just get that ‘last rep’ out – I just love giving others inspiration and belief in themselves”

 Sport has always been a big part of her life and her past achievements and interests include:

  • Cycling (medalled in the British Masters Track Championships)
  • Athletics (represented Kent County at hurdles)
  • Netball (Surrey County player)

You are never too old to lift weights!

When Tracy turned 50 she trained for Figure Body Building.  She only decided to do this at the beginning of the year and competed in the BNBF (British Natural Bodybuilding Federation) Southern Regional competition in June 2012 and won.  The British finals were held in September and Tracy was delighted to place 4th.  Below is a video of the event.

Since then, after a 5 year lay off following a frozen shoulder and then a shoulder arthroscopy, Tracy entered the competition again.  Although she did not place it has given her the confidence to compete again and in late 2017 she competed in UKDFBA (United Kingdom Drug Free Bodybuilding Association) which has provided her with greater stage experience.

For Tracy it is not all about competing, it is about setting a goal and achieving it.  She enjoys training in the gym, keeping herself fit and most of all healthy & strong, both in mind and body by having a balanced lifestyle.
